Flowing Flowers

Hello there! It’s Thursday and time for another Create With Connie and Mary card challenge! This week is a color challenge: Soft Succulent/Calypso Coral/Gold. I looked through my new stamp sets and settled on Flowing Flowers for this challenge.

This card is a departure from my usual clean and simple style, but I had fun stamping this (not so) random background for the art panel. I remember hearing that when you randomly stamp a panel, it’s best to stamp in triangles. So I stamped the large flower 3 times in a triangle with Calypso Coral, then the smaller cluster of flowers in a triangle. Then I filled in the holes with Soft Succulent leaves and gold embossed splatters from the Forever Fern set.

Flowing Flowers is a DistINKtive stamp set, which means it is etched so you get darks and lights in each stamp. Pretty, isn’t it?
