Jeanie posted another Mystery Stamping challenge this week and I made a Bookmark Card using Floral Impressions. Thought I’d share!
This is the card all tucked in and closed. Here’s what I used:
For the card
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock base, 5-1/2″x 11″, scored at 2-1/2″ and 6-3/4″
- Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder for the front flap
- Floral Impressions DSP, 5-1/4″x 4″
- 1/8″ double-sided adhesive tape (non-SU) for 2 sides of the front flap
- Paper Trimmer to angle cut the front flap
- Basic White Cardstock, 3″x 2″ for label
- Mixed Labels Dies
- Thankful Garden sentiment with Misty Moonlight ink
- Beautiful Butterflies die with Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss Cardstock bits
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Basic White, 5-1/4″x 4″ for the inside
- Iridescent Faceted Gems
For the bookmark
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock, 5″x 2-1/8″
- Floral Impressions DSP, 4-3/4″x 1-7/8″
- Basic White, 3″x 1-1/2″, cropped with Textured Notes Dies
- Sentiment from You Are Remarkable, stamped in Misty Moonlight
- Hole Punch
- White 1/4″ Ribbon
The bookmark tucks nicely into the flap created by folding the 2-1/2″ section back over the front of the card. I do recommend using something like Tear & Tape instead of glue, which can inhibit the bookmark from sliding in. However, Tear & Tape is 1/4″, so you would need to cut it to 1/8″ width – or buy the narrower tape online.
This is a fun card! I will enjoy giving it to a friend who likes to read. And I adore both sentiments as well.
I didn’t photograph the inside because I just left it blank for a message later.

Thank you for the great card idea, Jeanie!

Love it! I love Misty Moonlight and it is perfect with this card. I am looking forward to trying my hand at making this card with a fun bookmark. My hand is not cooperating so I am still working on PP kits and usingM&M cards for now. I think I purposely did not order this pretty pack of paper because I knew I would want to play with it and didn’t want to waste it.
