Floral Friend Card

Today I’m playing with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #272. My floral friend card fills the middle rows, both vertical and horizontal.

Details:

• Garden Green Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
• Floral Impressions DSP, 5″x 3-3/4″
• Garden Green and Basic White layers cropped with Textured Notes Dies
• Flowers ~ Strawberry Slush, Fresh Freesia, and Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, Leaves & stem ~ Granny Apple Green Cardstock
• Sentiment, from Unbounded Love stamped in Blackberry Bliss, and fussy cut
• Strawberry Slush Gems

This card is a “lemonade out of lemons” story! It started out as a fun fold and I made a huge mistake. But I was able to cut the mistake off and save the green base with the DSP glued to it. The green and white pieces that are cropped with Textured Notes Dies were going to be for a different card that I did not end up using. Happy ending all around! The moral of the story is, don’t throw away your mistakes! You never know how you might use them! 😊 💖
