(Festive & Fun) Skating Rhino

One more Festive & Fun card for you this week ~ this time with a skating rhino! Come on! The birds are getting a free ride on the sled. Aren’t they cute?

Again, I’ve used a simple card layout, so the stamped images are the focus. Easy to make:

• Basic Black base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″
• Azure Afternoon Cardstock, 5-1/4″x 4″, textured with Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder
• Basic White, 3-1/2″x 2-1/2″ for the stamped images, matted with Basic Black, only about 1/16″ showing on all 4 sides
  • Stamp the skating rhino image from Festive & Fun with Memento Tuxedo Black.
  • Color with Blends.
  • Stamp the sentiment under the sled.
  • Mount this stamped piece with Black Dimensionals.
• Add three Classic Matte Dots, black, to the upper right corner.
• For a tiny touch of sparkle I added the tiniest drops of Stickles Glitter Glue to the birds’ hats and in the center of each gift and wreath ribbon. It’s so subtle, you have to catch it in the light.

So fun! And for the coloring nay-sayers, it was very easy to color! I won’t list all of the colors I used, because it would take too much space and because you really want to put your own color mark on it. I will say that I used Azure Afternoon, though, in order to match the blue of the cardstock. ☺️
