Oh, I do love this dragonfly! And I am crazy about the colors in this paper. So I thought I would put them together, and this is what I came up with!
This is a Tranquil Tide base, with a layer of Lemon Lime Twist under a 5″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper. I wrapped a length of Lemon Lime Twist ribbon around the top two layers, then popped the whole thing up with Dimensionals over the base card.
The dragonfly sits on top of three Layering Circle pieces. The dragonfly itself is a combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, and Wink of Stella. I wish you could see the sparkle on its wings!
The sentiment is from Basket of Wishes. I stamped it with Tranquil Tide onto Whisper White and cut it to mimick the design in the DSP.
The inside sentiment, which I think pairs so nicely with the outside one, is from Better Together. The speckles behind it are from Timeless Textures, and the two Glitter Dots add a little sparkle to the inside.
I could ALMOST enter this into this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I covered 2 of the three items on the board…insect and green. Now if I could just turn it into a fun fold, I’d have it! I might have to work on that for tomorrow! Check back with me tomorrow and see if I am able to make that work!
