Easter’s On Its Way (for CC2C)

We are traveling East to West for Creating Coast 2  Coast this month of March! Rosanne, from Pennsylvania, picked our theme design – a fun sketch with lots of layering. I’ve embraced the fact that Easter’s on its way and used the Easter Basket stamp set with Perennial Lavender DSP. But first, let’s take a look at Rosanne’s beautiful card.

Here’s our sketch:

Here is Rosanne’s card:

You can read all about it by clicking HERE.

And here’s my card:

That sweet bunny and Easter egg are part of our Easter Time Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. So cute!

My Recipe:
  • Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
    • base – 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2″
    • flagged banner – 3-1/2″x 1-1/2″
  • Perennial Lavender DSP
    • floral background – 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
    • checkered banner – 4-1/8″ long x 1-1/2″ wide
    • vertical panel – 4″x 2″
  • Highland Heather Cardstock – 2-3/4″ circle, Spotlight on Nature Dies
  • Basic White Cardstock
    • 2-1/8″ circle – Stylish Shapes Dies
    • vertical panel mat – 4-1/8″x 2-1/8″
  • Bunny and Easter Egg, Easter Time Mix & Match Ephemera Pack
  • Sentiment – Easter Basket Stamp Set, Gorgeous Grape ink
  • Linen Thread bow
  • Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
Inside:

  • Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/4″x 4″
  • Image from Easter Basket stamp set, stamped with Early Espresso ink, colored with Blends

I adhered the Heather circle with Dimensionals and added Dimensionals behind the bunny’s head. To give its ears a little extra dimension, I doubled up some Mini Dimensionals behind them.

I hope you’ve enjoyed our monthly trek across the country! See you back here for another CC2C with Rosanne and me next month!
