I had a Team Gathering a couple of months ago and we all brought cards to swap, but in a de-constructed manner! We had a Shoebox Swap ~ each person brought their own designed card along with kits for each of us to make one. Each person then became the demonstrator and we all made her cards. It was a lot of fun! I posted the four different cards from my group HERE but never shared the directions for the card I contributed. I thought I’d do that today!
Materials & Measurements:
- Pool Party Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock layer, 5″x 3-3/4″ textured with Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder
- Earthen Elegance DSP (dark teal) 4″x 3-1/4″; (ombre teal) 4″x 3-1/4″
- Earthen Textures Bundle: Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, and Coastal Cabana ink pads
- Sentiment strip in Basic White, 2-1/2″x 3/8″, sentiment stamped with Pretty Peacock ink
- Adhesive-backed Sequins Trio in Pretty Peacock
I cropped the front pot from DSP and the decoration from Basic White. The dark grass stems are Pretty Peacock Cardstock, cropped with the dies. I used Dimensionals to anchor the grasses, the left pot, and the sentiment.
Everyone went home with a stack of new cards, but best of all, we had a lot of fun and laughter while building them!
