This card is all about having fun. My 5-year-old grandson, like most kids his age, is fascinated with dinosaurs. So what could be more perfect than an “I love you” card made with Dinoroar Designer Series Paper?!
I did a simple layered card front with Balmy Blue for the base and Pretty Peacock for the layer behind the Dinoroar DSP.
But because I don’t have the cute stamp set that goes with this paper, I had to get creative with the design. Do you know what Wobbles are? Someday I’m going to invest in those little springy, wibbly-wobbly thingies, but for now I had to make my own.
It is hard to see in the photo, but I took a bit of the matching DSP and accordion-folded it. Then I added strong adhesive to both ends, glued it to the back of my cut-out dinosaur (from a different piece of the DSP) and to the card front.
I personalized it with a message typed on my computer, cropped it out with the smallest Layering Oval Framelit, and glued it to the card.
To the inside, I cut a strip from yet another design from the same DSP at the bottom, hand-cut out another of the dinosaurs, and glued it to the inside panel. I love it! I think Oscar will, too! And maybe he can keep it out of his baby brother’s hands. I’m sure Maxwell will rip that fun dino right off the card if given the chance! 🙂
Here’s a look at the whole DSP pack:
It’s so bright and cheerful! If you have some young paleontologists in your family, you should think about purchasing this cute paper. Please consider purchasing it from my online store by clicking HERE. Your kids will love it!
Have a fun weekend!

Ha! I know what you mean! i put things away and either forget about them or forget where I put them, sigh!
Another creative and clever card Karen!
Thanks, Beth!
Such a darling card and perfect for my grandsons’ summer birthdays! I don’t have the stamp set either, so I will have to resort to snipping out a couple of dinosaurs. Thank you for sharing your creative genius, Karen!
Why, thank you, Diane! A big compliment! Have you made yours? It’s really easy and fun!
Oh, yes, I do adore this card. How creative to make a “wobble”. I do have a little pack of those things, never used, and . . . hmmmm . . . I wonder where I put them away?!
Have a blessed day.
