Our final Thursday post for February at Create With Connie & Mary is a sketch challenge. I picked Dandy Designs for a Special Day for my card. Here’s the sketch ~

Now here’s my card ~
I could have made this in either orientation, but I liked the ribbon bow turned this way better. It’s fun to turn a sketch around and play with it in several ways!
Measurements & Details:
- Calypso Coral base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Dandy Designs DSP, coral star pattern, 4-7/8″x 1-3/4″, glued to a white mat 5″x 1-7/8″
- Dandy Designs DSP, Petal Pink pattern, 4″x 3″
- Dandy Designs DSP, multi-colored floral pattern, 4″x 3″
- Basic White sentiment label, 2-1/2″x 2″, with the right end cut to a point
- Sentiment from Framed Florets in Calypso Coral ink
- Dashes and dots hand drawn around label with Calypso Coral and Petal Pink Stampin’ Write Markers
- Ribbon – Petal Pink Soft Ribbon, looped into a bow shape and glued down
- Sentiment Label adhered over the ribbon with Dimensionals
- To add a bit of sparkle, 3 Iridescent Rhinestones
