“Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I’m half crazy all for the love of you!” When my 2 year old grandson sang this to me, my heart exploded! He knew every word and sang it with gusto!
When I saw this daisy bundle in the new 2017-18 catalog, I knew it would be the first thing I ordered. And now I am very glad I did, because it is so popular that it is on permanent backorder status until late in June. Fear not, it will be back! But if you are like me, you will want to order it the minute it comes back because I have a hunch it won’t last long again! I will post the announcement when I hear it’s back.
To make this card, I glued a 5″ X 3-3/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock to a 5-1/4″ X 4″ piece of Night of Navy cardstock. I cut three strips of Delightul Daisy DSP 1″ X 3-3/4″ and glued them to the top of the Whisper White. Next, I cut four 1/8″ strips of Daffodil Delight cardstock and glued them in place.
I wrapped a length of this new Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Double-Stitched Ribbon around and glued it to the back. I tied another length into a bow and attached it with a Glue Dot.
The daisy is two punches from Whisper White, offset and glued in the center. I lightly curled the petals with my Bone Folder to give it some dimension. I added a center of Daffodil Delight and sparkled it up with some glitter glue (not Stampin’ Up!). I secured it to the card with Dimensionals.
This was attached to a 5-1/2″ X 4-1/4″ base of Thick Whisper White with Dimensionals.
On the inside, I used a greeting from Window Shopping, and the flower and stem stamps from Daisy Delight Stamp Set. All products will be listed below.
