Dainty Delight(ful) Birthday

Here’s a touch of Spring to brighten up these cold Winter days! Dainty Delight is a new stamp set that can be found on page 55 of the January-April Mini Catalog. It comes in a bundle with dies, although today I’ve only used the stamps. I put it together with a sentiment from Wildlife Wonder in the Annual Catalog and made it a Dainty Delight(ful) Birthday card.

Here’s a bonus ~ during Sale-a-Bration (Jan. 5 through Feb. 28) you can get the coordinating Designer Series Paper called Dainty Flowers for FREE! You only need to make a purchase of $50 (the Dainty Delight Bundle = $54.75) and you can get this full-sized pack of 12″x 12″ DSP to go with it. I love that Stampin’ Up! coordinates their products like this!

This sheet of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper looks textural! Can you see it? I actually had to run my fingers over it to see if it was raised. Fooled me! It’s flat, but looks so real!

After stamping and coloring the wildflower in the oval, I used a Blending Brush and Fresh Freesia ink to brush a little color “behind” it.

Even though these pink rhinestones have retired, you can color plain rhinestones any color with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.

Oh, I love this! So pretty and soft but so rich looking. Sure looks textured to me. Obviously I did not look at my SAB package yet or carefully. Off to check it out.
