This week at Create With Connie & Mary, we have a color challenge with these pretty, soft colors. It’s very close to Easter, so I decided to make some daffodils for Easter, using the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set and Daffodil Dies.
Here’s my card ~
Here are the details ~
- Soft Succulent Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Delicate Desert DSP, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Daffodils: Pale Papaya Cardstock, brushed with Pale Papaya ink
- Leaves: Soft Succulent Cardstock, brushed with Soft Succulent ink
- Sentiment: Daffodil Daydream, Gray Granite ink on Basic White Cardstock, cropped with a label from Potted Succulent Dies
- Embellishments: Gray Granite Baker’s Twine and Adhesive Backed Milky Dots
I used Glue Dots to adhere the flowers, leaves, stems, and twine. For the label I used double Dimensionals.
Now head over to Create With Connie & Mary to see what the other designers have made with this color combination.
Thanks for stopping by today,

So pretty. Our daffodils are about two inches high in some spots in the yard. We are to have crappy weather starting tomorrow, hope it doesn’t hurt the flowers. Love your card.
Such a pretty Easter (or spring) card, Karen. Our daffodils are coming up everywhere and are such a welcome sight, as is your card!
Your card is stunning, Karen!
