Creativity Now (with opportunity to join!)

Stampin’ Up! had an event today called Creativity Now. It’s an annual event that demonstrators can attend online. We watched the presenters make projects and we were able to make the projects right along with them! I have to say, this year’s was my favorite of all of them so far. They knocked it out of the park with the projects, made it very easy to follow along, and gave us lots of sneak peeks of product that will be released with the Fall/Winter Mini Catalog.

Here are the projects that I put together while watching the event:

Project #1

A simple but beautiful sympathy card made with products from the featured Suite used today: Peaceful Garden.

• Basic White Cardstock base (I used Thick Basic White)
• Peaceful Garden DSP
• Peace on Earth Stamp Set
• Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue ink pads
• Linen Thread

Project #2

This was a little more involved card and envelope set. It’s a fun fold card that is held together with ribbon, and an envelope made with the DSP.

Project #3

This pretty card used a tool that I don’t have, so my card isn’t quite as fancy as the one demonstrated. It used the Take Your Pick Crafter Tip, Rotary Perforating Tip. It was such a cool finish on the pieces! Guess what’s going into my shopping cart today?!

Project #4

For our last project we made a simple treat box that measures 4″x 2″x 1″. It’s held closed with the ribbon and when opened, the top pieces hinge up and out.
