It’s Thursday and another Create With Connie & Mary post! We have a fun card to CASE this week. I had a good time putting my own spin on this Construction Zone card found on page 81 of the Annual Catalog. Here’s the catalog photo:
Here’s my version:
I got a little dry embossing in along with a some coloring with Blends. This little construction worker reminds me of Lego people, so I went with the traditional Lego colors of primary red, blue, and yellow. It was “loads of fun!”
Details:
- Night of Navy Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″
- Night of Navy 6″x 6″ plaid DSP, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″
- Real Red Cardstock, 5-1/2″x 1-3/4″, textured with the dotted Basic 3D Embossing Folder
- Basic White layer for the images, 3-3/4″x 3″, corners rounded
- Daffodil Delight Cardstock “flags,” (2) 1-1/2″x 1-1/4″
- Real Red 1/4″ Ribbon, approx 20″
