Come (Golf) Away

This is my second post today. My first one, published earlier today, tells you about my upcoming In Color product share. You will want to get in on that!  For my card inspiration today, I’ve combined two retiring products from Stampin’ Up! for a Father’s Day card. Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper and the Clubhouse Bundle are not an obvious combination, but that’s what I do ~ try to put the unexpected together! So here is my Come (Golf) Away card ~

This person got caught in the rough! No doubt it’s my ball!!!

The Come Sail Away DSP is a great nautical set, perfect for the sailor in your life. BUT I also love the non-themed striped patterns on several of the sheets for any number of occasions! I’ve chosen to pair this Mossy Meadow/Soft sea Foam stripe with the Clubhouse Bundle. The stamps and dies are perfect for the golfer in your life, like my husband!

I used So Saffron for my background to this little golf scene. The clubs were cut with Gold Foil and Basic Black for the handles. I stamped the flag with Memento and put a touch of Real Red and Mossy Meadow with my Blends. I chose Very Vanilla for the banner, golf balls, and inside layer.

We are getting close to the end of my walk through the Annual Catalog. There is one more pack of Designer Series Paper that I haven’t touched on yet. Did anyone noticed that I skipped over it? Any guesses what it is (without looking)?
