Charming Day Anniversary Card (CSF 898)

Welcome to our first Create with Stamping Friends for the month of December! We have a color challenge today ~ create anything using only Basic White and any Metallic. I’ve made a Charming Day anniversary card. This color combination would be beautiful for a wedding card or any winter card as well.

The directions for this card hardly need mentioning! It’s such a clean & simple one. But I do have a helpful tip to help you fill in the flower centers with Silver Foil.

Recipe & Tips:

• Basic White Thick Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
• Silver Foil Sheet, 5″x 3-3/4″
• Basic White Cardstock, 4-3/4″x 3-1/2″
  • Stamp the sentiment with Versamark after finding the placement with the floral arrangement as your guide.
  • Sprinkle with Silver Wow! Embossing Powder and heat set.
• Basic White Cardstock and Silver Foil Sheet, 4-1/2″x 3″ piece from each color
  • Crop the floral arrangement from Charming Day Dies from both colors. Remove the center bits from the white floral with your Take-a-Pick Tool. On the back of the die cut piece, place bits of Tear & Tape over the holes left behind when you removed the center bits. Leave the paper backing on the Tear & Tape and turn it over. You now have a sticky surface inside those centers to which you can stick silver bits from the next step.
  • Carefully remove the center bits from your Silver Foil Floral Arrangement. Place those bits into the white piece, pressing down to adhere them on the exposed Tear & Tape.
  • Save the Silver Foil Arrangement for another card!
  • Adhere the white with silver floral arrangement to your card with Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals placed strategically on the back.
• Add some silver Metallic Gems to finish the card!
