Celebratory Sips (for CSF880)

I’m using Celebratory Sips for this week’s Create with Stamping Friends challenge. We are CASEing the catalog one more time and this is a fun one on page 89. Instead of mushrooms I’ve used the colorful beverages from the DSP. I did a little fussy cutting for a fun celebration card!

Here’s our challenge:

And here’s my card:

I’ve said it before, but I still think this is my favorite paper of all the newer offers. I think it’s the colors! Love the colors!

Here’s my recipe:
  • Thick Basic White Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Strawberry Slush DSP from the 2025-27 In Color Collection, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″
  • Cloud Cover DSP from the 2025-27 In Color Collection, 4″x 2-3/4″
  • Basic White, 3-1/2″x 2-1/4″
  • Cloud Cover Cardstock for sentiment, 1-3/4″x 1/4″
    • Sentiment from Cheers & Sips, stamped with Secret Sea ink
  • Sangria pitcher, bottles, glass, and fruit fussy-cut from Celebratory Sips DSP
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Oh, how fun! I used to love Sangria with the fruit. Looks so realistic and I can almost taste it. I had the pitcher too. I used it daily for iced tea until it broke. Anyway, this is just a bright fun card. I have that paper etc but have not used it yet. Bernie is such a handful. Yesterday he chewed on a plastic container holding ribbon bolts. He got it down after pulling it off a shelf. So, 6 rolls of ribbon ended up in a big slobbery clump except for one roll that he strung through the living room. Later he managed to get a sheet of PP adhesive dots and peeled them off via slobbery and stuck in the carpet once they dried. That happened while I was at the grocery store and Mike was “watching” him! Saturday, he will be 5 months old. Anyway, I love your card, much better than the mushrooms!
