CASEing My Own Card With Nature’s Poem

Happy Friday to all! I have a card to share with you that I CASEd…from myself! I wonder if you think it looks familiar? About a month ago, I posted this card that I made using Soft Suede and Nature’s Poem DSP ~

I decided to try the same layout using a different piece of the beautiful Designer Series Paper. The delicate blackberry and pink leaves look almost transparent to me. It’s no secret that I love every piece of this Nature’s Poem DSP! I layered it over Blackberry Bliss and adhered that to a base card of Petal Pink.

I chose the “Thinking of you” sentiment from Treat Time because of the delicate script that doesn’t overpower the beautiful leaves. Treat Time is a multi-use stamp set that I will be pulling out for lots of occasions. It also comes with a bundle option for a 10% discount. I stamped it using Blackberry Bliss ink onto Whisper White cardstock, cut a 1-7/8″ circle using Layering Circle Framelits, then layered it onto a Petal Pink circle and a Blackberry Bliss scalloped circle. Dimensionals lift it up off the card ever-so-slightly. You can barely see the Vellum leaves against the white background of the DSP, but when you are looking at it up close, they add another soft element to the card.

The Blackberry Bliss Twine is part of the Nature’s Poem Suite. It comes with three other colors, all picking up shades in the DSP. I added three little pink pearls from the Share What You Love suite because, well, they matched! And they’re pretty 🙂
