CASEing Coast to Coast, November

Welcome to our November post of CASEing Coast to Coast! If you missed last month’s introduction to CCC, you can see it here.

This month, Rosanne started us off with this beautiful card using the Wrapped in Plaid 6″x 6″ DSP, and the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set. You can see all the details for her card here.

There is so much to love about her pretty card that I took many of the same elements and added a few of my own. Here is my CASE ~

christmas gleaming stamp set, itty bitty christmas stamp set, detailed deer dies, wrapped in plaid dsp, christmas card idea, coloring with blends, reindeer card idea, stampin up, karen hallam, stampinup

I used the Wrapped in Plaid DSP as well, but picked a piece that is predominantly Shaded Spruce, layered it with Whisper White and glued the layers to a base of Spruce cardstock.

I also used Gold Foil to back a 3-1/4″x 2-1/4″ piece of Whisper White for the sentiment. After that I stamped “believe” from Itty Bitty Christmas in Versamark Ink and heat set it with Gold Embossing Powder.

Rosanne’s holly leaves are beautiful, so I decided to add some to mine as well. These are from Christmas Gleaming. I stamped two, colored them with my Blends markers – Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler. Then I added Wink of Stella to the centers of the leaves and berries.

Add some Christmas “wonder!”

I love this reindeer from Detailed Deer Dies and knew I had to make him into Rudolph once I chose “believe” for my sentiment! He is cropped from Gold Foil and the floral flourish die are Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler.  The matching rhinestones are from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels pack.

I chose a sentiment from So Many Stars for the inside.

Do you believe? 😉
