Butterfly Gala on Hydrangea Hill

I’ve missed these butterflies! They are from Butterfly Gala and have been in our catalog for awhile now. When new things come out, we tend to overlook the older good stuff. Such was the case with this one, but I still love it as much as ever! It’s a butterfly gala on Hydrangea Hill!

Isn’t this a great layout? I was inspired by the sketch in Freshly Made Sketches this past week. You can see it HERE if you’d like to visit their site. This is what the sketch was.

You can see how I layered the Hydrangea Hill DSP with Highland Heather and Basic White Cardstock. The center panel is raised up on Dimensionals. I stamped and cut the leaves with Old Olive ink and the Forever Fern Bundle. As I mentioned before, the pair of butterflies are from Butterfly Gala. First I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Blends, then I punched them out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. I cut the tiny Highland Heather butterfly with Butterfly Beauty Dies.

The Blends Markers that I used are Highland Heather, Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, Old Olive, and Purple Posy.

I do enjoy mixing up stamp sets and paper. Maybe you’ve noticed? The bundles are great and everything matches, but you can get lots of new combinations and unique cards when you “cross-pollinate!”

All of the products I used will be listed below. Don’t forget to get an order in before Feb. 28, so you can cash in on a free Sale-a-Bration item! The promotion ends this Sunday! When you place your order, please use my February Host Code = YU33QASA. Thanks!

Have a wonderful Wednesday ~
