A new month = a new suite bundle!
And it is a sweet suite! This month I will be featuring (among other things) the Brightly Gleaming Suite. It includes a beautiful stamp set, two ornament punches, copper foil accents, specialty DSP, a unique embossing folder, and copper/vanilla ribbon! See new card inspiration below.
This is the whole suite, which you can purchase as a complete suite for $97.00. Click here to order the suite. Or you may want bits and pieces of it. Honestly, that’s what I did, and now I have ended up buying everything a la carte. I would have saved 10% had I just ordered the suite from the beginning. Something to think about!
What you can’t really see here is the embossing folder, so I’m going to give you a better look at that.

Isn’t it cool? It’s equally interesting on the embossed as well as the debossed side.
As I did with the past two months, I am offering a tutorial bundle to everyone who orders from me during the month of November. The only requirement to receive this tutorial package is that you spend $40 before tax and shipping. The purchase can be anything in any current catalog, Clearance Rack, or Paper Pumpkin (3 months pre-paid or more). You will receive from me three free & exclusive project tutorials using the Brightly Gleaming suite products. These will not be shown on my blog or in any kit. They are my “thank you” to you for your order. I know you will love them!
Try a New Technique
To start the month, I’ve been playing around with a split-front card technique.
This technique offers a little different look to the front of your card, with a gap in the middle, bridging the top to the bottom with a focal piece.
The Base
Start with a base card of Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock. Cut off the lower portion of the front 2-1/4″ from the bottom. Then cut the loose piece in half at 1-1/8″ wide. Keep one piece for another card. Cover the front with your choice of DSP. I used the Pretty Peacock side with no foil of Brightly Gleaming DSP for my front.
The Bridge
To make the “bridge,” crop a piece of Copper Foil with the Stitched Shapes square die that measures 2-5/8″. I glued a matching plain square of Vanilla Cardstock to the back to give it more strength. Glue this to the front, bridging the top to the bottom of the card front.
The Gleam
Decorate with two ornaments (Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack) punched with coordinating patterns of the same DSP. Adhere with Dimensionals.
Stamp a greeting in the gap. I used stamps from So Many Stars. That “JOY” just fit in so nicely!
Last, secure a bow made with the 1/2″ Classic Weave Ribbon from the suite. The copper printed on the Vanilla is perfect with this collection.
Don’t forget the envelope!
Can’t believe it’s Friday already! I hope you have a good weekend. I hear there are tornado-warnings back East, and of course the wildfires and dry, windy conditions in CA. Wherever you are, be safe! You can always stay inside and be crafty, yeah?
Do you like the project I’ve just shared? Ready to order?

Beautiful card and envelope. I like this type of card. I will be on the search for words and images that fit in that space.
