Bridal Bouquet

A full bridal bouquet?  Or a single stem?  Which would you choose?

I have both to share with you today. I made the softer full bridal bouquet first ~

I used our new Petal Pink cardstock and Share What You Love Designer Series Paper, with a layer of Basic Gray cardstock between the two.

The bouquet was created with the stamps and framelits from Beautiful Bouquet. The photo doesn’t pick up the Wink of Stella sparkle on the hydrangeas. I snipped a bit of Pearlized Doily to add to the bottom of the bouquet wrap. The sentiment is also from Beautiful Bouquet.

Then thought I’d make a simpler version… and I came up with this ~

This card was assembled exactly the same way, with the exception of Basic Black instead of Gray. The sentiment is from Beautiful You, and the hydrangea stem is from Beautiful Bouquet. Again, the photo doesn’t pick it up, but I put some Pearl White embossing powder (non-SU) over the blossom and heat set it. It has a gorgeous shine and coordinates beautifully with the DSP.

So, I’ll ask again, which would you choose? I can’t decide which one I like better, so I’d love to hear your opinions!

That’s it for my Wedding Week. Next week I’ll be onto something else! Have a great weekend!! Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and grandpas out there. I hope you have a relaxing and fun day!

Karen

    I vote bouquet

  2. They are both beautiful but I would pick the hydrangea as they are one of my favorite flowers.

    • Hi Lorna! Our hydrangeas in the front are looking gorgeous right now. None this color, but we have purple, pink, and blue. I need to enjoy them before the heat gets to them!

  3. Hmmm . . . that is a hard question, Karen. Both are beautiful. I like the traditional bouquet.
    Have a great weekend.
