Book It! (for CASEing Coast to Coast)

This month in CASEing Coast to Coast, we are traveling from Rosanne’s home state of Pennsylvania to mine in California. Rosanne picked a back-to-school theme entitled “Book It!”… very appropriate as all of the kids are heading back to school and once again hitting the books.

Here is Rosanne’s adorable card:

You can read more about her card by clicking HERE and going to her blog, Heartfelt Stamping.

And here is my “bookish” card & pen caddy:

Full disclosure: I am recycling this card from a year ago. You may have read that Rod and I are in the middle of moving. Seems like it’s taking forever! I don’t have access to most of my stamping supplies, which is driving me crazy! So, just re-imagine (and reproduce) this tent card and pen caddy with current DSP! 😄

Here’s a close up of the card front:

And the back:

And the side:

I will send you to the original post for all the directions for both of these projects. Click HERE.

I love the sweet little images on this stamp set. And it is still current! It was carried over from last year so we can enjoy it through this Annual Catalog period!

BIRD’S EYE VIEW PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

Here’s another, more recent card I made using the current Winter Meadow DSP.

Fall is fast approaching! I know I will enjoy creating autumn cards with these little owls!

Thanks for joining us for our cross-country journey today! See you next month on CASEing Coast to Coast and tomorrow on Create With Stamping Friends!

  1. Cute card Karen!

  2. Moving is so hard as we get older! Hang in there because it is also fun to build a new “nest” in your new home. Love this card!

    • Thanks so much, Ceresa! I am going to enjoy making the new house my own! At this point, there are so many decisions to make! But putting it together will be fun.

  3. This is a project that looks great the second time around! Glad we get to see it again. Also, that stamp set is one of my favorite. BTW…moving is no joke and certainly not easy so hang in there!
