Bokeh Butterfly

Hello friends! It’s Thursday, so another Create with Stamping Friends day! This week we have a sketch challenge and I paired the new Beautiful Butterflies Bundle with Beautiful Bokeh DSP, making a Bokeh Butterfly card.

Here’s the sketch:

Isn’t that butterfly stunning? This bundle is a hybrid bundle, which means it comes with stamps, dies, and an embossing folder that works with the dies. It’s very cool and you will want one! Check it out in the Product List below.

Recipe:

• Calypso Coral Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
• Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/4″x 4″
• Beautiful Bokeh DSP, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″ -and- four 1″ strips from the flip side for the diagonal stripes
• Basic White again, 3-7/8″x 2-3/8″
• Calypso Coral, 3-3/4″x 2-1/4″
  • Heat emboss the “hello” sentiment from Beautiful Butterflies into the lower left corner with white embossing powder.
• For the butterfly:
  • Basic White, 4’x 3-1/2″, cropped with the medium butterfly outline die
  • Bloom Impressions DSP (Sale-A-Bration free gift with $60 purchase), 4″x 3-1/2″,        cropped with the large detailed butterfly die
  • Blueberry Bushel cardstock, 2-1/2″x 1″, for the largest butterfly body
• Embellishments:  Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio in white
