Bokeh Balloon Birthday

Sometimes the simplest designs please me the most. And here is a card that you can see is a very simple design, but I am nutso over it!

I love the colors ~ Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. The Bokeh Dots stamp was one I hadn’t tried yet. Once I did, I knew it was going to be the backdrop to a fabulous birthday card.

My balloon and string came from an oldie-but-goodie (and I’m so glad it is still in our catalog!) Balloon Celebration. I stamped the sparkle over the Gorgeous grape balloon with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with an irridescent, sparkly embossing powder that I have had for-maybe-ever. I think Stampin’ Up! should add this to their product line! It adds such a pretty sparkle to the balloon and I love it.

On the inside, I stamped part of a sentiment stamp from Picture Perfect Birthday, masking off the “today we celebrate” ’cause I already had that on the front. It seemed redundant.

That is my simple, sparkly, sweet card for today. I am going to send it to my very beautiful, wonderful, brilliant friend who is celebrating her birthday this week!

Have a great weekend!
