Bohemian Koala

Doesn’t this little guy just make you smile?  He would cheer me up any day!
Let’s talk about this Bohemian Designer Series Paper…When I first saw it (being brutally honest here) I thought, no way could I use those bright colors together.  But, as usually happens, I am starting to like this paper a lot.  And in small strips like this, paired with the calmer back sides of the same paper, I think it looks really good!
Oops, I can’t give you exact measurements, because I already sent it out to my friend who needed a little cheerfulness in her mailbox, but I can give you the basics…
The base is Blackberry Bliss, 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ for a vertical card.  I then cut a Very Vanilla layer 1/8″ smaller.  The DSP strip at the bottom was 1 1/2″ x 4 1/8″.  I stamped the Kind Koala on a piece of Very Vanilla and layered it on another piece of Blackberry Bliss.  The Delightfully Dijon piece is also from Bohemian.  The center of the flower is punched from a 3/8″ circle punch.  The flower itself was stamped onto Blackberry Bliss and cut out with Paper Snips, then glued right on top of the original stamp.  The ribbon is last year’s Blackberry Bliss Satin Stitched Ribbon, which I did see on the newly-stocked Clearance Rack for only $3.59! Give it a try!  Make someone’s day by letting them know you are thinking of them 🙂  Supplies are listed below.  If you aren’t already working with another demonstrator, I would appreciate your business!  You can also sign up to receive my newsletter by clicking on the Contact Me button and filling out the short form.  I send one out once a week (Tuesday or Wednesday) and highlight special deals for you and often feature a card or project with detailed instructions.  I hope to hear from you!
Have a blessed day!
