Bloom Where You’re Planted

Bloom Where You’re Planted is one of the nine Designer Series Paper Packs that is on sale through July 2021. You can purchase it for $9.78, which is a 15% savings over the regular price. Many of the Stampin’ Up! Designer Papers come in packs of 12 double-sided sheets measuring 12″x 12″. I am a huge fan of DSP!

Here’s a look at the whole pack.

I decided to go square on this card. It measures 4-1/4″x 4-1/4″. I cut the DSP to 4″x 4″ and glued it to a piece of white cardstock, also 4″x 4″, for stability. Then I cropped a hole out of the middle with the 2-3/8″ Layering Circles Die.

I glued a smaller square of the brick pattern to the front of the Gray Granite card base. Then I cut the potted plant out from the DSP with my Paper Snips.

I attached the potted plant to the back of the piece with the hole, pulling the leaves to the front, then popped the whole thing up over the brick paper with Dimensionals.

I stamped Thank You from Blossoms in Bloom (isn’t that the best stamp set for simple sentiments?!) with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Dimensionals hold it up off the brick print and liquid glue holds the ends down on either side.

The subtle sparkle comes from five silvery sequins.

A Favorite

I do have to say this is truly one of my favorites! Yep, I say that about all of them, don’t I? This one really is. I adore plants and as soon as I saw this in the catalog I had to get it. Want to make it your favorite? Order it HERE and see if it doesn’t win you over. My Host Code for July is D3SWAYHR and I would appreciate you entering that when prompted on the order form. Thank you! And if you haven’t already bought the Perfect Plants Dies, you should, as a few of them cut out images from the DSP. They all fit nicely in the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, which is a great cost-effective alternative to the large machine!

Another great card. I have this on my wish list. I figured the plants won’t die on me.

Today’s card is fabulous, but so are all the others you created with this set. Due to your wonderful inspiration, this set is now one of my favorites, too!
