Blissed Out Birthday!

Still my favorite!  This pretty Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper has been my fave since I first opened the catalog.  Both the blues and the pinks in their soft watercolor designs are just yummy.

This is a quick and easy layout that will work for many stamps and papers.  Today I’ve put it together with the single wood-mount stamp, Stylized Birthday.  Don’t you love this happy font?  I used Island Indigo ink and Island Indigo cardstock to frame the DSP rectangles and Mint Macaron for the card base.

The flower is made from Blooms and Wishes photopolymer stamp set, stamped in Mint and Indigo, then trimmed out with my craft scissors.  The center is a rhinestone jewel.

I had a lot of fun stamping the inside with small images in the Blooms and Wishes set.  Only two colors – Mint Macaron and Island Indigo to go with the DSP on the front.  Stamp this before you attach it to the card and stamp half on/half off scrap paper.  My advice is, don’t think about it too much, just stamp randomly and balance the colors as you go. Fun!

Check these beautiful items out in the Blooms and Bliss Suite, pages 138-139 in the Annual Catalog.  There are also some gorgeous ribbons to go with the paper as well.  And when you are ordering, don’t forget ~
