Birthday Treat Bag

What fun! My project today combines the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits (on sale this week) with items from the Annual Catalog and the Occasions Catalog.  I’m having so much fun pulling out coordinating products to create new things!  Here is what I used…

You’re So Sweet stamp set, Mint Macaron 1″ Dotted Lace Trim, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron cardstocks, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, and Subtles Candy Dots come from the Annual Catalog.  Balloon Celebration stamp set, Birthday Bouquet DSP, Birthday Bouquet Punch, and Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit come from the Occasions Catalog.

First ~ You can buy the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits at a 25% discount this week.  That’s $10.00 off for a terrific, versatile set.  This set has 12 dies.  I used 4 of them on this project.

I slid a gift card holder inside the bag by taking a 7 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ piece of Whisper White, scoring and folding at 5″, then adhering the sides with Tear and Tape.  To create a pull tab, I folded a piece of Blushing Bride ribbon from the Embellishment Kit and stapled it to the top of the card.

For a bit more texture I cropped the sentiment from a piece of Mint Macaron that I had run through the Decorative Dots Textured Embossing Folder.
