Beauty Abounds

Today I’m CASEing – myself! – with the layout that I showed you on Wednesday. It’s a simple and fun layout that you can do so many different things with. On this card I’ve used Beauty Abounds.

My background paper is another beauty from Best Dressed 6″x 6″ DSP. I layered it on Whisper White over a Highland Heather base card.

The focal piece, also Whisper White, is cropped with Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I stamped he image from Beauty Abounds with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with my Blends markers. Then I heat embossed the sentiment with Versamark Ink and Black Embossing Powder.

I added a little Highland Heather ink over the inside sentiment and added another butterfly. This stamp set is one I bought last year, and like most of my butterfly products, it was put away for the winter. It’s time to emerge from the winter cocoon! I love Spring!

I accented the flower centers and butterfly wings with my black Glaze pen. It isn’t a Stampin’ Up! pen, but can be found in craft stores or online. It adds just a bit of dimension and great shiny touches to your card.

Another reminder that we are still in the midst of Sale-A-Bration. Be sure to get your free products when you purchase from Stampin’ Up! Orders of $50 qualify you for some awesome gifts. You can choose from stamp sets, Designer Series paper, a card kit, and embellishments. With a purchase of $100 you may pick a punch, some dies that coordinate with a stamp set, or a bundle that includes an embossing folder + stamp set. Then in March, SU is rolling out some new choices for you, so the fun continues through March 31.

If that isn’t enough…

I am offering a tutorial package to everyone that spends a minimum of $40 from me. This package includes the photos and instructions to make three exclusive cards that I know you will love. This month I am featuring the So Sentimental Bundle ~ one of my top faves from the Spring Mini Catalog.
