Beautiful You

I have a quick and simple, yet elegant card for you today.  It features the new stamp set called Beautiful You ~ a 2-pack set of stamps in your choice of clear or wood mount rubber. This set includes 3 images that are quick sketches of a woman in fun poses.  There are some great sentiments included.  I chose this classy woman image to make a birthday card ~
I added the tiniest bit of color on her dress and hat with our new Watercolor Pencils and my Blender Pen. The pencil color is Calypso Coral. It is so easy!
The DSP panel is from A Little Foxy DSP Stack.  It measures 2″ X 5 1/2″.  I stamped the woman on watercolor paper with Basic Gray Archival Ink and cropped out the oval with Layering Ovals Framelits. 
I stamped the sentiment directly on the Smoky Slate base with Basic Gray Archival Ink.
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from the set with Basic Gray, then gave it a little flourish with Timeless Textures and Calypso Coral ink, stamped off once.

See those scribbles?  Those are designed to fit into the dresses.  They create a scribble of color that is very art deco.

    Your cards are always classy and elegant! I have been on the fence with this stamp set (remember I traded it at OnStage) but you are enabling me yet again!!!! I wish we lived closer!!!! I was so tempted to come to San Diego in April but Richmond does not require me getting on another airplane. LOL

      IF you were to come out to San Diego, I'd be signing up myself! As it is, I will be skipping this one. San Diego is still an airplane ride away (or a 10 hour drive!) and just not in the budget right now. Hopefully we can get together at the next one!
