This is a new set for me. It’s called Beautiful Friendship, and it has the etched photopolymer that creates a beautiful 3-D effect with some light and dark spots on each stamp. It is fabulous! I’m just starting to play with it, and have this ultra simple card to show you for my first try.
I chose the Perennial Essence DSP to give me my color palette. Highland Heather, Petal Pink, and Pretty Peacock are my floral colors, and Gorgeous Grape is my choice for the sentiment. I did wipe off the purple from the stems and used my Mossy Meadow Marker on the stamp.
The Stitched Rectangle Dies that I used measure 4″ x 2-5/8″ and 2-7/8″ x 7/8″. What I wanted to share is the scalloped frame that I created around the largest white rectangle. I used the straight scalloped stitched die from the Be Mine Stitched Dies!
To make it, cut four pieces, snip them down to the right length and piece them together around your rectangle.
Of course, it has stitching, and may I say that I’m just a little nuts over any dies that have stitching. Just sayin’!
On the inside, a simple stamping in the bottom corner to repeat the tiny flowers. I can’t wait to try some of the other stamps. That one that resembles hydrangeas is so beautiful. You may see that one on my blog next week 😉
Did you reserve your Holiday DSP and/or Ribbon Share yet?
I would love to add you to my list! Read about my Shares HERE, then send me an email to karenshallam@gmail.com to let me know you would like my Sample Platter! You will need to let me know by September 2nd if you’d like a Share, then I will place an order on the first day the catalog goes live, Sept. 4. I should get the order by early the next week and will get them out to you within a few days after that. You won’t have to wait long!
Have a great weekend! I’m going to Cathy Williams’ Nor Cal Stampin’ Event, so I hope to learn a lot and have some new ideas to share with you afterward. I know it will be fun!
