This week we have this pretty color challenge at Create With Connie & Mary. When you see the colors, you’ll agree with me that Beary Christmas is tailor made for this one!
Here’s my card:
Details:
- Begin with a Real Red Cardstock base, 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2″ for a side fold card.
- Cut the polar bear scene from Beary Christmas DSP to 5-1/4″x 4″. Glue to the base.
- Stamp “Oh what fun!” from the So Very Merry Stamp Set (Online Exclusive) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Stamp a second time with Versamark ink and heat emboss it with Clear Emboss Powder.
- Fussy cut a baby bear from Beary Christmas DSP and attach it to the front with Mini Dimensionals. Opt: Touch the bears’ noses and eyes with a black gel pen to add some gloss.
- Die cut a Real Red bow using Sentiment Silhouettes dies and glue it to the back bear.
- Stamp a scarf for the front bear using Real Red ink and the Beary Cute Stamp Set. Fussy cut the scarf and attach it with glue.
- Stamp the gift in the Beary Cute Stamp Set with Real Red ink. Color the strips with a Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Marker. Fussy cut it out and adhere with a Dimensional.
- Add three Iridescent Rhinestones.
Such a cute polar bear family! On second look, this does not have to be for Christmas. It would work perfectly for a winter birthday as well! Now it’s time to click over to Create With Connie & Mary to see the awesome cards the rest of the team made! Click HERE.
