A summer birthday calls for a beach scene, don’t you think? I mixed up several stamp sets to bring you this summery, beachy scene ~
The chair and sentiment are from Colorful Seasons, the water, birds, and sun are from High Tide, and the sand and sun sparkles are from Touches of Texture.
The colors I used are Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Sahara Sand, Smoky Slate, and Tuxedo Black. I stamped the chair first then masked it off so I could get the sand under it. It also allowed me to get the water right up close without stamping it onto the chair. Neat trick! I used Wink of Stella on the water to give it that sunlit sparkle.

I love to spend my birthday at the beach, and as we live in California we are never too far away from getting our toes in the sand! It’s just pure relaxation.
