Arched Wishes

It’s our last Thursday Create post for April! I just can’t believe how fast time moves. We have a bright color challenge this week and I’ve chosen Arched Wishes to create a bright and festive birthday card.

Nothing says happy birthday like a balloon bouquet! These balloons are part of the Arched Wishes Stamp Set. I stamped them first on a Basic White panel, masking them off to create a bouquet. Then I stamped them again on the various colored DSP to follow the challenge, fussy cut them out, and paper pieced them into the stamped images on the white panel.

I cropped the bouquet out with Everyday Arches Dies, then cropped another larger arch from Melon Mambo to layer behind it.

To the Summer Splash card base, I glued a 5-1/4″x 4″ piece of Summer Splash DSP from Unbounded Beauty.

The arches are adhered with Dimensionals. “Happy Birthday” is on a white banner and up on Dimensionals.

The final touch is a trio of 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems, again in Summer Splash.
