It’s a new Tic Tac Toe Challenge! I saw gold and bling in the middle row, and knew exactly what I wanted to make!
I bought these gorgeous gold striped bags and they were calling me for this challenge 🙂 …. Did I over-do it? Can one have too much shiny?!! What do you think?
This blingy bag is home to a card that might serve as a gift card holder or simply a nice message to someone. It’s roomy enough for a sweet treat as well.
I used a Striped Treat Bag, Gold Foil, Gold Glimmer Paper, Mini Treat Bag Thinlits (for the heart and the “for you”), Stitched Shapes Oval Framelit, Layering Ovals Framelits, Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine, Gold Metallic Thread, and Ribbon of Courage for the inside sentiment all from the 2017-18 Annual Catalog. The band of black and white checked DSP is a sneak peek of Merry Little Christmas DSP from the Holiday Catalog (available on Sept. 1).
The card is thick Whisper White and is cut a little bigger than a normal card. I cut it at 4-1/2″ x 6-3/4″ to fit the bag.

When this post is published, I’ll be on my way to visit my grandson in the state of Washington! He has a new dog! He has wanted a dog for as long as I can remember. Our Amos satisfied him while they lived here, but once they moved north he has been craving his own. Enter Wrigley ~
He is the cutest 3-year-old Corgi/Border Collie mix! They adopted him from a local shelter. I can’t wait to meet him. He is already attached and very protective of his owner. He jumped between him and another dog to “save” his master the other day. Good dog!
