A Zesty Birthday (for CC2C)

Have a zesty birthday! This month Rosanne and I bring a birthday theme to you in CASEing Coast to Coast! Rosanne is from Pennsylvania and I live in California. We take turns, once a month, deciding on a theme, then create cards to fit that theme. This is my birthday month, so I thought a birthday theme would be just perfect. My zesty birthday card is inspired by all the limes we are currently getting off our tree. Here is my bright and zesty card~

SWEET CITRUS BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

Sweet Citrus Bundle, #160645, Image Ā© Stampin’ Up!

These stamps are photopolymer. The embossing folder is a hybrid, which means you can use it like any 3D embossing folder, or you can pop the citrus dies inside the folder and cut & emboss your cardstock at the same time! It’s so cool!

I stamped the inside of the limes with Parakeet Party and the skins and whole lime with Granny Apple Green. The embossing folder give them such a realistic texture. Love it! Then I stamped the leaves with Shaded Spruce to mimic the DSP, adding a line of Balmy Blue with a Stampin’ Write Marker, again to match the DSP.
