A Simple Thank You Card

Here’s a clean and simple (CAS) thank you card for you today.  It’s a quicky – you could make several of them easily in 1/2 hour.
I used the pre-cut and scored Note Card & Envelope for this card. These come ready to use, in a great size – 3 1/2″ x 5″ – and you get 20 of them for only $6.00.  They are so handy for quick cards.  You find them on page 149 of the Annual Catalog and they come in Whisper White and Crumb Cake.
I made a layer of holly paper with a 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ piece of DSP from Season of Cheer.

I stamped Watercolor Thank You in Real Red on a layer of Whisper White measuring 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4.” I glued that on top of a skinny layer of Real Red.  It’s just 1/8″ bigger than the white piece.  These got popped up with Dimensionals and centered on the card.

For the embellishment, I fussy cut 3 holly leaves from my scrap of DSP (it was easy, really!) and punched out 3 berries from red Glimmer Paper and glued them on.

And because I have all this great red envelope paper, I lined the envelopes with it, using my Envelope Liner Framelits.  These framelits come in 3 sizes and the middle size is perfect for this envelope.  I love the way it finishes off the card, making it a bit more special.

As I always say, make this your own!  Pick a DSP you love, then match the ink color and envelope lining paper.  You can use this for any thank you all year long.  Of course, mine are going as Christmas thank yous!!  And I think this little card, as simple as it is, is just striking.  Don’t you agree?  Go make some ~ and have fun!
