There is no denying that a bright yellow, black, and white note card with butterflies could bring a smile to your face, even in the darkest, coldest of days! Here is a little Spring in an envelope for you ~
It’s so simple and easy to duplicate. Emboss a 4-3/4″ x 3-1/4″ piece of Daffodil Delight with the Fluttering Textured Embossing Folder (retired) or another folder of your choice. Next glue a 1-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of black and white checked paper from Botanical Butterflies (free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration) to the bottom. Wrap a 6″ length of black ribbon around the piece, covering the seam and glue it to the back. Then glue the whole thing to a Whisper White Note Card.
Punch out six butterflies from the same DSP, using the Butterfly Duet Punch. Punch out a sentiment label with thick Whisper White cardstock. Stamp with the Butterfly Gala set. Then glue down your fluttering butterflies wherever you fancy on the top. I added three black rhinestones for a little sparkle.
If you would like to dress up your envelope, a 1/4″ strip of Basic Black and a 2″ wide strip of Daffodil Delight from the Brights DSP pack look great on the outer flap.
So easy-peasy, right? And super cheerful. “A little note” to brighten your day! Have a great one ~
P.S. I have included the Butterfly Duet Punch in my Product List, however it will not be available to order until mid-March. It was exceedingly popular and the supply was depleted. There are more on order and you will have a chance to get it next month. Sorry for the inconvenience!

What an awesome cheerful card!
I am with Nancy, bring on the bright and cheery yellow. Great color combination for a dreary day here in Iowa. That embossing folder looks so fun, too bad it is discontinued. Love the perky envelope too. I will be casing this for sure. Love the note cards too.
Thanks, Chris. I didn’t realize that folder had retired until after I did this post and was linking the supplies to the bottom! I don’t know why they got rid of it – it’s beautiful! A KEEPER!
Oh yes I needed some yellow on this grey day! Cute, easy card. A keeper for sure.
Have a blessed day. 🙂
Thanks Nancy! Nothing like a sunny yellow card! 🙂
