A Look Back at Peaceful Poppies

Good Monday morning! I hope you had a good weekend! Placer County is beginning to open up again. We have accessibility to our state parks as of Friday, and yesterday restaurants began opening to the public. Slowly but surely, life will be happening again! I’m hoping hair salons are next 😉

Another Look Back

Today I’m looking back at the Designer Series Paper called Peaceful Poppies from the Spring Mini Catalog. This paper was one of my all time favorites and the number of cards I’ve made will attest to that. I do have one new card to show you, but first let’s take a look at some of the ones I’ve made in the past few months. You can click on the photos to see the original posts.

Here is my new card for today.

I’ve used Rich Razzleberry Cardstock for the base, then I cropped the poppies cutouts using Poppy Moments Dies, top and bottom.

For the sentiment I used a die from Painted Labels Dies and stamped the sympathy message from Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. Don’t forget that you save 10% when you buy the Peaceful Moments Bundle (this bundle opportunity goes away on June 2). I tied Whisper White Baker’s Twine (on the Last Chance Product List) around the DSP before gluing it to the base card, then tied a bow. Three Peaceful Poppies Sequins (also retiring) adds another touch of color.

I used another sheet of this DSP for my envelope flap. It ties together nicely with the Razzleberry paper in the card and gives the recipient a preview of what’s inside! I absolutely love our Designer Series Papers! New ones are coming out in a little over a week. That means these beauties will be gone. You have until June 2 (or while supplies last) to get your favorites. Don’t miss out! Click HERE to fill your shopping cart with all your favorites!

Now catch the stamping habit and go make something!

Love all the examples. I have a full pack as I really have not used any of it except for my shares. Let the fun begin when I am feeling a little bit better or at least concentrate more.

  2. Wonderful as always! I love that paper too and you inspired to use it again!
