A Little Christmas Joy (CSF 940)

Happy 1st of October! It finally feels like it’s officially Fall, even though we’ve been crafting with Fall themes (and even Christmas!) for several weeks now. Today we have a color challenge at Create with Stamping Friends. And look at our new inspiration banner! Isn’t it great? These colors are very Christmasy so I played with A Little Christmas to make my cute little card. Who doesn’t love little Christmas mice! It’s a little Christmas joy!

Here’s our challenge board:

And here’s my card:

So sweet! I love the little one peeking over the table, perhaps helping his Mama make the cookies! Or maybe he is just thinking of sneaking one right off the pan!

My Quick & Easy Recipe (for the card, not the cookies! 😊):
  • Early Espresso Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″ folded at 4-1/4″
  • A Little Christmas DSP, Peaceful Pine stripe, 5-1/4″x 2-3/4″
  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, 5-1/4″x 1-1/4″
  •  Early Espresso strip, 5-1/4″x 1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock circle, Stylish Shapes Die, 2-1/8″ diameter
    • Stamp Christmas JOY from Pretty Poinsettia with Cherry Cobbler ink in the center and color JOY in with Cherry Cobbler Blends, Dark to Light.
    • Glue to the card base.
  • A Little Christmas DSP
    • Fussy cut the mice at the table and the little mouse holding the basket from the DSP. Adhere with Dimensionals.
  • Adhesive-backed Sparkle Sequins, three Cherry Cobbler, scattered
  • Basic White Cardstock for inside, 5-1/4″x 4″
