A Handmade Hug with Countryside Inn

Hi! I’m giving you a handmade hug with Countryside Inn today! I’ve decided to challenge myself this week by using Designer Series Paper that I’ve never used or haven’t used for a long time. I’ll let the paper drive the design and I’m keeping it simple this week. Countryside Inn was a favorite when it came out last year, but it was set aside when we got all the new stuff. Happily, it’s back in the new Annual Catalog, on page 109. I don’t recall ever using this bird print before, so I thought I’d start the week off with this ~

Materials, Measurements, & Minutia:
  • Balmy Blue Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
  • Night of Navy Cardstock layer, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
  • Countryside Inn bird print, 5″x 3-3/4″
  • Countryside Inn striped print, 1-3/4″x 3-3/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock banner, 3″x 2-1/8″, cropped with Nested Essentials Dies
    • I adhered this with Dimensionals.
  • Sentiment from Crafting With You, stamped in Misty Moonlight
  • Heart from Crafting With You, stamped in Balmy Blue
    • I felt it needed a little sparkle, but all of our gems are too big for this dainty heart, so I dropped a tiny bit of Diamond Stickles glitter glue ~ perfect!
  • Misty Moonlight twine wrapped twice and tied in a bow on the left (retired)

Such a simple, cute design! Let me know if you like it!

I wonder what paper I will pull out next??? Come back tomorrow and you’ll see 😉.

Have a great day,

I’m sending everyone who orders $75+ from me a patriotic themed (think 4th of July) card kit this month. If you would like to start an order, click HERE. Please use the above Host Code when you do! Thanks!
