While in Greece,

We ate a LOT of fish, as you can imagine! And it is super fresh, caught that same day. They bring out an assortment of their fresh-caught fish and you get to pick which one you want. They cook it to perfection and serve it, whole (head & all – which I had to get past!) on your plate with fresh vegetables or salad. It was a great diet – very healthy, and so tasty!

So light and healthy that we felt compelled to visit Mr. Scoop for an ice cream cone afterward! 🙂

I have a few more pretty photos to show you, too, if you would like to see! But first, I want to remind you that I’m taking reservations for Product Shares with our upcoming July-Dec Mini Catalog. Heart Rock

While in Santorini, we went on a tour which took us south of Imerovigli to various parts of the island. One of our stops required a walk down a path going toward the sea. The walk would have been easy enough if the wind hadn’t been blowing so hard! We were up high above the caldera and one of the photo stops was at “Heart Rock.” You have to look at it with imagination, as the wind and rains have eroded it into a shape that isn’t quite a heart anymore! He took our picture in front of it and you can see by my hair that it was very windy! My arms are out to balance me. It was so strong!

Continuing down the path, we walked to this beautiful little chapel, owned by a family in the area, but open to the public. It was carved right into the side of the cliff, like so many buildings on this island. Such a gorgeous setting for a brief time of worship!

Next time, I’ll show you the ancient town of Akrotiri that is being excavated on Santorini. It was fascinating!

Have a wonderful Father’s Day weekend! See you again next week.
