As usual, I have Christmas DSP left over, so what better opportunity to use some of it up! This DSP is from Home For Christmas and I love the rich colors in it. I pulled out some of the gold touches in the paper by backing it with some Gold Foil and by putting Gold Foil behind the Peaceful Pines Christmas tree to shine through like ornaments. (Hot Tip: Cut out the center of your Gold Foil rectangle. You will save on that special paper and the card won’t be as top-heavy. It’s covered, so no one will ever know! 🙂 )
The base is Real Red, as is the ink color and ribbon. The green is Mossy Meadow and the neutral is Very Vanilla. I used the Circles Framelits to cut my circular layers. The stamps came from Another Thank You.
Inside, I glued 3 ornaments that I cut from the scrap of paper I had left over. I didn’t stamp a sentiment – leaving me more room to write my personal note of thanks.
Will you be sending out thank you cards?
