Transluscent Florals (for CSF 822)

It’s Thursday, and I’m back with Create With Stamping Friends! This week we have a color challenge. When looking at these colors, I was pretty sure I would be making a floral card. I landed on Transluscent Florals, mainly because I hadn’t used them in a while.  Don’t you love how these stamps look transluscent with the highs and lows etched into the images?

Here’s the challenge:

And here’s my card:

irresistible blooms, transluscent blooms bundle, everyday details dies, csf 822, thank you card idea, stampin up, karen hallam

Details:
  • Pebbled Path Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Bubble Bath Cardstock, 5-1/4″x 4″, textured with a Basic 3D Embossing Folder
    • To make the texture “pop”, run a Whisper White Craft Ink Pad over the texture! It’s subtle but effective!
  • Basic White Cardstock for stamping flowers, leaves, and sentiment
    • Stamp the two largest flowers from Transluscent Florals (page 80) in Bubble Bath and Pebbled Path, then crop them out with coordinating dies.
    • Stamp two small blooms in Bubble Bath and crop.
    • For the leaves, stamp with Shy Shamrock and crop.
    • Using Online Exclusive Stamp Set, Irresistible Blooms, stamp the sentiment with Pebbled Path and crop with Everyday Details Dies, another Online Exclusive. Adhere over the flower arrangement using Foam Adhesive Sheet or Dimensionals.
  • For a touch of sparkle, add three Shy Shamrock In Color Gems.
