So Sincere (for CSF 816)

Hello! Today at Create with Stamping Friends, we have a color challenge. Pecan, Lemon, and Lagoon sounds like A Little Latte DSP to me! So that’s the route I went with my card. I thought this sentiment from So Sincere went perfectly with a couple of coffee mugs.

Here is the challenge board ~

And here’s my card ~

so sincere, a little latte dsp, perennial postage dies, cwsf 816, stampin up, karen hallam

I have several “Let’s go get coffee!” friends. One of them will surely be receiving this card in the future!

Here are the details ~
  • Start with a Pecan Pie base, measuring 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″.
  • Add a 4″x 4″ piece of “paneling” from Country Woods DSP to the top of the base.
  • Overlap and glue a 4″x 2″ piece of the coffee rings to the bottom of the base.
  • Add a 1/4″ strip of Lost Lagoon to the seam.
  • Cut two mugs from A Little Latte DSP, Lemon Lolly and Lost Lagoon, with Paper Snips.
    • Add small pieces of Foam Adhesive Sheet to the back of each mug and adhere to the card front.
  • Stamp the sentiment from So Sincere to a piece of Basic White with Pecan Pie ink and crop it out with Perennial Postage Dies. This one measures 2-5/16″x 1-9/16″.
  • Place some Rainbow Dots around for the added cute factor!

Now pop on over to Create With Stamping Friends to see what others have made using this color combination.

Thanks for stopping by today!
