Simple Simply Zinnia

We’re back this week with a color challenge at Create With Stamping Friends. This week we have Granny Apple Green, Early Espresso, and Melon Mambo to work with. I’m taking a risk with this simple Simply Zinnia card, as it’s on the Last Chance List. I’m counting on it still being available when this is published!

Here’s our challenge:

All week I’ve been highlighting products that are on the Last Chance List, since I know you are going to wish you got them once they are gone! Simply Zinnia is one of those must haves ~ I love it! I used the stamps and dies on this card.

Here’s the recipe:
  • Early Espresso Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock, 3″x 4-1/4″, cropped with Deckled Rectangle Dies
  • Melon Mambo Cardstock for the zinnia petals
    • Crop three flower petal dies to build this up with some awesome dimension. I used two of the wider die and one of the skinnier die then glued them together in the center.
  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock for the stem, leaves, and flower center “stars”
    • Crop four leaves and arrange them along the stem. Glue the center stars over an Early Espresso flower center. Brush some Wink of Stella on them to give a pretty sparkle!
  • The sentiment:
    • Stamp with Early Espresso onto Basic White Cardstock, 2″x 3/4″ and crop with Deckled Rectangle Dies. Attach with Dimensionals centered over the leaves.

If you buy the stamp set, marked down to $12.50 (from $25) and the dies, marked down to $19.80 (from $33) you will save a bunch even over buying the bundle. So that is my recommendation! You’re welcome! 😊

Now let’s go over to Create With Stamping Friends for more color inspiration. Thanks for visiting our blogs today!
