Hello and welcome to my Thursday post for Create with Stamping Friends! This week we have a sketch challenge and I’ve chosen Seaside Wishes to Enjoy as my card for this challenge. Let’s take a look at the sketch:
I’m dreaming of white sandy beaches and clear aqua blue waters! I was supposed to be sailing to the Southern Caribbean on Patty Bennett’s Crafting Cruise, but Hurricane Milton hit the day before we were to leave. The airport and ports closed and suddenly everything became very complicated. We decided to cancel (I know, so sad!) My thoughts and prayers pour out for the people of Florida. I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. Meanwhile, back at home…
Here’s my card:
Recipe:
- Summer Splash Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Summer Splash layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Textured with So Swirly Embossing Folder
- Basic White for stamping
- Sand dollars stamped (2nd generation) with Crumb Cake
- Large starfish stamped with Petal Pink
- Small starfish stamped with Highland Heather
- All cropped with Seaside Wishes Dies
- Banner – Basic White, 1-1/2″ wide and 2″ long
- Sentiment stamped with Labeled With Love stamp in Summer Splash
- 2024-26 In Color Shimmer Gems in Summer Splash

I know your beach themed card can’t make up for missing your cruise but it is really pretty…the colors are wonderful. Hopefully, you’ll be able to go another time.
Thanks, Rosanne. I’m hoping so too!
I have never been on a cruise. So sorry you had to cancel. I bet it would have been fun. This is such a nice beachy themed card. The colors are so restful. Love it. The sand dollars are so realistic.
Thanks, Chris! Hopefully we’ll get to go on one next year.
