Regal Winter Gate Fold Card

This week at Create with Stamping Friends we have a sketch challenge that happens to be a Gate Fold card! How fun! I pulled out my Regal Winter DSP again (I told you I can’t get enough of this pretty paper!) and made a Regal Winter Gate Fold Card.

First, here’s the sketch:

And here’s my card:

I added a belly band, as it wanted to pop open without it.

Here’s my recipe:
  • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 2-3/4″ and 7″
  • Regal Winter DSP, 5-1/4″x 3-3/4″, cut to 2 pieces 5-1/4″x 2-1/2″ and 5-1/4″x 1-1/4″
  • Blackberry Bliss circle die cut, 2-1/2″ Deckled Circle Dis
  • Basic White 5-1/4″x 4″ for inside and circle die cut, 2-1/8″ Stylish Shapes Die
  • Blackberry Bliss belly band, 9″x 3/4″
    • Start the band at the back of the card and wrap both sides around to the front, gently creasing it to fit. Then glue the Blackberry circle to the band, crossing over the ends to hold it together. This should slide easily on and off without being so loose that it falls off.
  • Sentiment from Regal Flora Stamp Set, stamped in Blackberry Bliss
  • Floral arrangement from Regal Flora Bundle, stamped in Petunia Pop, Garden Green, and Balmy Blue
  • White Baker’s Twine from the Essentials Pack
  • 3 Iridescent Foil Gems
