Purple Combination (for CSF 872)

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends! We are starting June off with a color challenge ~ a purple combination that is soooo pretty! I chose to ink up Thankful Garden and put it with Lovely Garden DSP.

Here’s our challenge:

All the details:
  • Gorgeous Grape Cardstock base, 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2″
  • Basic White layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
  • Lovely Garden DSP, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
  • 8 cardstock strips, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Fresh Freesia, 4 @ 5/8″x 3-7/8″, 3 @ 1/8″x 3-7/8″, and 1 Basic White @ 1/2″x 3-78″
  • Hydrangea flower colored with Decorative Masks, Blending Brushes, Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape ink pads
  • Stem & leaves colored with Granny Apple Green and Garden Green
  • Hello (from Simply Said) stamped in Gorgeous Grape
  • Purple Fine Shimmer Gems for embellishment

For a touch more shimmer, I brushed Wink of Stella on the dark portions of the hydrangea petals.
